@drago Love it, my two previous carts were both Lyra , helikon and then kleos, they have a slightly cooler balance than the Hana, the red is not inexpensive but I would say it is worth every penny it cost.
Well balanced, detailed, without forcing the detail in your face , be prepared for the extra expense of all the vinyl you will end up buying because of it giving so much pleasure to the listening experience.

Hi @Rods , is there a picture somewhere on the forum of your room showing the MBLs in context of placement?
Reason I ask is (obviously) the MBLs send sound everywhere (radiation pattern) at once equally and I am intrigued as to how you have them working in your room.

Just bought a pair of AN-K/LX and looking on info about pairing it with the Oto PP (
As I’m today paring it with my rega Aethos/p10/Alpheta/Aura I would like to know if a good idea or better keeping my current setup
Any info to share ?

I’d move up to the single ended Oto instead of the PP. The other option that would work really well is the Cobra. Can you demo? I’m sure these speakers sound great with the gear you have, but there’s something about AN speakers with AN amplification. If you intend to sell or trade the Athens and Aura, get an Oto Phono SE Signature with an Audio Note step up transformer. No brainer.

The point with the Oto is the tube life (I’m listening music 7 hours/day….vinyl, radio…) so tubes will be changed very often I guess

the EL84 tubes in the Oto are robust and inexpensive to replace. Same with the EL34 in the Cobra. My Oto is usually on 6-10 hours a day.
I haven’t heard the non-phono Oto. The non-phono version lacks the 12AU7 preamp tube of the Oto SE Phono which concerns me as that tube has a big impact on the sound of the integrated…swapping that tube for a NOS makes a clearly audible difference so the non-photo not having it seems odd.
I prefer the Oto Phono SE Sig to the Cobra by a lot, but the Cobra is great and the built in DAC is nice too.

I see so Oto PP is the way to go …if tube route (who could more…could less )
Some had mentionned préférence of the se vs se signature (assuming price was also in the equation)
The point is that I will have to move to an MM cartridge instead of my MC alpheta… and I don’t know the impact on the sound quality… any comment ?
Oups I didnt saw your comment about the additional transformer . So would assume this would help me to keep my alpheta in my final setup…right ?

No, the Oto Phono SE Sig is the way to go, definitely best bang for the buck. The PP is push pull. If you want audio note, skip it and get the class A single ended version of the Oto. You won’t regret it.
If you’re not yet willing to step up to the Oto Phono SE Sig, get the Cobra. Skip the Oto Line PP.
Getting a step up transformer that works with the specs of your Aphelia would allow you to use the internal moving magnet phono stage of the Oto. You can contact Audio Note via their website and ask which step up would be best for that cart.

Thx a lot, I will check Cobra / Oto se / Oto se signature and MC/MM option …and will push for an home test before moving further with the amps
