What I mean is that music replay in the garden room is not such a priority. I decided I didn’t want to create another music room. I was going to use a SN3 and Kudos S20 in this room, but realised that would just be too much. I’m comfortable with it as it is.
Nice. A lovely space. I spy the Misplaced Childhood LP masterpiece too, so even better.
All the animals too, a Tiger, an Eagle, a Puma and a Harrier.
Thanks for telling me about the glued feet I need to get them off to fit a superclamp ![]()
Also could be interested ![]()
Cheers

Surely that is also a garden room? ![]()

All ready for the new kit.
Seems strange sitting in here with everything switched off and 3 empty shelves🫤
NDX2/XPS2 DR, plus the 202/200 ND5 XS2/Stageline and Headline with NAPSC from Mrs Q’s system, all boxed up and ready to go🫣
Can’t quite see how you will fit a full Statement system in there…
No, but maybe something just below it on the Pre-Amp scale😉
Baited breath…
Don’t go turning from Yellow to Blue now, they won’t let you back in the stands at Carrow Road🤣
After this season, may be a blessing in disguise.
Got my 2 pairs of Chord Music IC’s back after conversion to shotgun (Y) config.
So now 2 x 500 bi passive. One 500 for left and right bass and one 500 for left right mid/treble. The bass is almost like a sub woofer on the T808’s as the midranges reproduce the upper bass.
Very nice upgrade from one 500 configured like this. I tried the other way to configure with one side of each 500 left unused which I wasn’t as impressed.
The Sarum T mimi jumpers which can been seen in the pic took an age to burn in (200 hours at least which is consistent with ChorAlloy plugs) but now are really working well over the stainless steel c clips that come as standard.
In this fully treated room with upgraded floor, mains, current components and cables I feel that I’m experiencing the best sound yet in any system that I’ve used. Incredibly clean, open with great timing.
Whoa👍
As you were, 552 is not staying.
More later
A bit like a puppy. Once you try it you can’t give it back. ![]()
We are all waiting with bated breath! What’s going on? ![]()
Ok, time for the big “Reveal”
Today my new Linn Selekt DSM Classik Hub, with Line Out module and Organik DAC was delivered and installed by the marvellous Tony from Basically Sound.
As you can see from the above picture, the 282/Twin HiCap DR pre is still in situ.
Tony brought the amazing 552 with him to demo, but though it sounded amazing and did lots of the great things a 552 does, it’s not for me.
I will therefore, look to upgrade other elements of my system in the years to come and remain very happy with my chosen amplifier solution.
THIS ORGANIK BASED DSM ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!!!
Enjoy it! And give it many weeks until Organik unfold their full potential. ![]()
