With my hearing - my left ear stopped working in 2020 during Covid and I have aids that send the sound from the left to my functioning right ear - this is the best place in the room for good sound. If I sit in front of the speakers it’s a constant reminder of the challenges I face, where all sound comes from the right. But here, it sounds great and I can forget about my disability.

It was Tord Gustavsen’s Seeing. I’m saving the best band ever for a little later.

One player swearing at the manager, another throwing a water bottle at him & the other 9 totally ignoring him whilst he is standing simply waving his arms about.
Losing one nil to the only team below us, in administration & with a 12 point deduction.
And only just half time…….
You couldn’t make it up….
Will play something on the system for the second half to keep the blood pressure down, possibly Queen, Another One Bites the Dust

This weekend I went to pick up my Thorens 160B mk II which had received a new more exclusive tonearm cable. I have also decided to buy and keep the player I borrowed in the meantime, a Thorens 125 with an SME 3009 improved. As the icing on the cake, I made room for even more vinyl by installing shelves in the music room wardrobes and sorting out all the accessories. I also took the opportunity to clean and tidy up the room as a whole. A hard-working but very fun weekend 
And what better way to rededicate the room than one of the first Led Zeppelin lls sold on the other side of the pond sound designed by Bob Ludvig
