System Pics 2026

That is so badass.

This guy is the deal. So cool.

I find black cables particularly ugly on a domestic setting and always use white where possible to reduce the visual mess. If there were white versions of cables available I’d get them, but apart from NACA5 it’s not an option Naim offer.

I did recently rewire a Powerline Lite with white rubber insulated cable similar to that used on a full fat Powerline so that it was less ugly, and a little shorter to stop it touching the ground.

As for plastic trunking, there’s absolutely no way I’m glueing that s**t to any visible surface in the house!

I’ve tried plastic trunking in the past and it always ends up looking far worse than just seeing the cables. I would never touch it again. How did your rewired Powerline Lite sound by the way? I assume you must have fitted a rewirable IEC. What guage of cable did you use please? Thanks.

Yes, I used one of the cheaper Furutech IEC plugs and just reused the Powerline Lite mains plug. The rubber insulated cable is sometimes sold as immersion heater cable and can be bought in short lengths. Feels quite similar to the rubber insulated cable used in Powerlines but it’s 2.5mm rather than 4mm.

I use this for my Atom, not in the main system where the black Powerlines are well hidden, and so far it’s just been playing crazy stuff that my visiting grandkids listen to so I’m afraid I can’t comment on any sound quality changes.

Heard them a few years ago - great speakers. Actually preferred the smaller S10A but always have had a soft-spot for stand mounts…

Like the Ercol

Transcriptor comes to my mind.
