Such a bleeding mess ,but sounds so good, now with Linn Klimax DS Utopik and mogami bi wired bass output leads to save daisy chaining bass amps.
Still awaiting my replacement for my Naim amps in main rig.

The Komri speakers are special , and im only scraping the surface of their potential, but at the price paid i doubt anything comes close .

Since I have a few options available I decided to kick it old school today and hook up the Olive Nait 2 and bring out the old Rega RP6 to play a MoFi Dark Side Of The Moon.
Might miss the convenience of my streaming setup for the next little bit but there’s just something special about putting on a classic record and listening all the way through without the temptation of pressing the skip button.

We have very similar systems and I have the SR3 Signatures and have heard the Arretes on my system - they are fantastic. I have Superlumina interconnects and Tellrium Black 2 speaker cable which I tested against many other cables.
The Arretes are superb, I really want them! But, if I had the money to afford them, I would want a 555 / 552 improvement first. I don’t know if you have tried it, but the grounding cable works brilliantly with the Audiovector speaker cable too - works much better than Superlumina, which I also heard.
Short answer, great speakers but a huge cost. If you can afford it, you won’t regret it.

The big systems on show here look mightily impressive and I’m sure must sound truly wonderful. In the past I envied such systems very much and aspired to owning them, and eventually got there, though not as elaborate as some.
Strangely now though I find it’s the simple little systems that really appeal to me. It’s trite I know to say less is more, but that’s exactly where I am now. Apart from the simplicity of appearance which I like, there’s also something about the sound of a really good simple little system that can be hugely appealing. Stripped right back to the musical basics and devoid of distractions I find that these systems can be more direct in communicating the musical message than much bigger and more elaborate systems. Something I’ve experienced a number of times. Big elaborate systems of course do things that small simple systems could never manage. But the reverse is also true IMO.

Thanks - good to know about the cables.
They sound (and look) fantastic, big spend decision to make … only thing I’m thinking is the R3 came out in 2019 and whether a new model will come along soon.

Speakers don’t change as much as other electronics, especially digital devices. Look at how long ATC speakers haven’t changed and are still considered reference speakers in their class. They haven’t changed in about 15 years. I think the R3’s will still be stunning even when a new model is released. You can also count on a big price bump for the new model as it’s pretty much the standard these days.
@Mario have you ever used a quartz/granite plinth underneath the speakers?
I’ve got them under my DBLs and I can’t imagine ever going without them. Not that I have any idea what the DBLs sound like without them but based on past experience with practically every speaker I’ve owned, they’ve improved the sound considerably.

I am not very well versed in the older Naim gear (working on it) but that CB tuner with the green gauge is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.

That’s a NA101. The rotating gauge is made from A plastic bottle I believe. I had one for while and the bulb kept blowing, which was tricky to replace. It’s great fun though, as it revolves as you tune to different stations. Great sound too, second to the NAT01.

If the Nait 50 came with a remote I’d consider selling all my stuff and building a new system just to get that tuner. That’s how shallow I am.
