Love the sound of silence… :joy:

Well spotted, source is NDX.

Nothing. The Nait 2 and Guru Juniors were made for each other.

Yes, a dream combo!

That rhymes with my experience too. 100’s are authoritative Chameleons. I was also surprised how totally different they were to the already wonderful 50’s.
Sadly, not domestically acceptable chez moi :frowning:

You are speaking half french, half english ?

Like “rendezvous,” “chez moi” is entering the English language because in there’s no English equivalent that conveys the idea quite as elegantly and succinctly.

Pretentious? Moi?

And to sort of get us back on topic, a link to my entry in last year’s thread.

My system hasn’t changed since then.

And half nonsense, at least!

I’m also currently vacationing just outside Clermont L’Herault too, so that may be informing my idiom(e)!

How beautiful. Worthy of a painting (without your car).

It’s funny because French employ a lot of English terms ( brainstorming, planning, shopping, coaching…) and Brits a lot of French words.

You have Focal and Naim in Perpignan. Not far from you.

You must meet him there. Bring your wallet.

It’s definitely my go to..

A few years ago in one day I travelled through a German speaking part of Italy followed by an Italian speaking part of Switzerland. I was so tired that I got confused at a service station when buying a sandwich and broke into Franglais :man_shrugging:. The guy simply replied “You can speak in English if you want”. I nearly wet myself. :joy:

Yes, earlier today I saw boats offering ‘fishing’ in Marseillan harbour.
My favourite though is ‘Le Weekend’!
