The Best 👌

Best pen for me. A Japanese Pentel bought at MOMA shop in Shinjuku for £5. Energel technology makes it very smooth and easy to write with. Perfect size for my clumsy hand. Refills readily available back here in NZ. Love the Japanese green colour. A perfect tool. Like me!

Shaving oils are a ripoff. I make up my own from sunflower and olive oils with some drops of Vitamin E carrier.

Costs next to nothing and works perfectly well.

“Shaving oils" are another example of hucksterism and convincing you that you need a “special” product that you actually don’t.

Olive oil can clog pores for those with oily skin but yes it’s a great alternative for most.

I use shaving oil once a week and may give your solution a try.

My current daily shaving cream rated on Yuka.

DO NOT ORDER DIRECT FROM SOMERSETS.

They appear to have been hacked or there is a duplicate website. Some people have said they have taken money and no product sent.

WORSE: Cards used recently have been used fraudulently, including my wife’s. Luckily Lloyds were up to it.

Current favourite after Rubies in the Rubble.
Not too acidic but with a genuine tomato flavour and interestingly spiced.
Because of the large opening it will come out rapidly with a satisfying plop. Not to worry.

Mutti frutti?

And their chopped tomatoes are streets ahead of other brands. :face_savoring_food::face_savoring_food:

For ketchup (and many other condiments), local loyalty and my taste buds both require I recommend this unreservedly:

Not posh in any way, but I’m very partial to these two:

The “spicy” one (pikantny) isn’t actually spicy, more “herby”. Both have their uses.

My choice of ketchup - I like it British, like my HiFi!

Yep, me and @Alley_Cat have been into that for ages. It’s such a diverse and complex forum, so you’ll find the reference in the ‘Gardening’ topic😅. Mutti are a true authentic Italian brand and their products are superb. Their tinned tomato products are my top choice too.

I don’t think the tomatoes can be British. They would never ripen in sufficient quantity in our climate.
I suppose the basis will be Italian or Spanish tomato concentrate worked up in Tiptree.

Yes, I presume most of the ingredients are imported although its made in the UK. I buy it because I much prefer it to the usual Heinz stuff.

Greenhouses are a possibility.

I also like several Tracklements products although I seldom find any/many in U.K. supermarkets. My favourites are ‘Strong English Mustard’ and ‘Fresh Chilli Jam’.
