Watched an old episode the Young Ones last night which featured the Dammed. Liked the song and obviously been aware of the Dammed for years but own nothing so anyone care to guide me to their best albums to rectify this gap in my collection? Thanks

You can find that track on a Best Of but if you had to have the one album then I think, for me, it would always be Machine Gun Etiquette.

Iā€™ve just found in a box New Rose single pink vinyl on Stiff Label.
Doesnā€™t really help but found it a strange coincidence. :thinking:

@Martin.M BBC2 in a response to the start of ā€˜alternativeā€™ Channel 4 who included The Comic Strip Presentsā€¦ in its opening broadcast. BBC Iplayer has The Young Ones available. Wikipedia has a good background.

Also, apart from the brilliance of The young Ones, back then I was sharing a house with a few mates and we never missed it. We are still the best of mates today and meet up regularly.

When I lived in Canada I had a friend from New York and he asked me once if Iā€™d seen The Young Ones and obviously I said yes. His reply was fluffing funny.
