Not if you do it gradually. Say start with only the even numbered number plates for a few months.

I’ve never struggled driving a left handed car you just have to remember to keep your wife to the ditch. Thankfully the peddles are all the same, just imagine how difficult it’d be if they were switched as well.

I work(ed) in both.

It was interesting a few years ago, when my company was buying equipments from the US (Imperial measurements) and attempting to install them on a panel dimensioned in metric! Some did not fit due to tolerance build-up. I think we had to get the suppliers over….with a set of needle files!

I measured an old G Plan coffee table for a replacement piece of glass after we had it restored (old family heirloom).
Anyway, I measured it in Millimetres, but it was made in inches. It wasn’t off by much, less than a millimetre, but it was enough for it not to fit🤷🏻‍♂️

I’ll come back when it’s done. Be less cars on the road.

why? to what end?

Things are starting to come together and we’ll be moving in next Tuesday.

I’m sure there’s bound to be the odd thing still unfinished but nothing that can’t fixed while where in there.

No more photos till after it’s finished

Great news Pete. When’s the housewarming party?

June for the housewarming, I’ll probably, depending on how they behave between now and then throw the tradies a barbie Friday week.

My biggest problem now is me only being one handed, I’ve had to hire a labourer to help with the odd job including box my hi fi. She’s a friends daughter she tougher than I am with both arms.

See the doctor on Thursday I’m hoping they can remove the plaster and let wear a brace.

Good morning you’all

Hope you’all are well and the weather is kind, unlike here we’ve now had over 7 weeks of rain (over 700mm) you can’t walk without sinking. Sometimes in rains all day the other days it’s annoying showers it’s definitely the wettest autumn I can remember. We won’t get the back terrace done before we move in can’t get it waterproofed. Other than that it’s all systems go tomorrows list includes air con commissioned, skirting’s and architraves, internet, power and lights as well as other stuff.

And I do get the irony in an Aussie whinging to a Pom about the rain. :upside_down_face:

It’s turned cold here now, fire at night, heat pumps in the morning. Winter blues creeping in…

Thankfully it’s not that cold just wet. Autumn and Spring are unpredictable season and we do generally get rain. Thing is here everyone (or most) live in valleys along side rivers, our main street could end up looking like Venice I’ll have to swap the Jimny for a gondola. :upside_down_face:

A couple of months ago I saw a completely pimped Jimny. Apparently it is cult, like Subaru also is.

Forgot to take a photo!

You know I don’t like doing this at all Pete  but we now have the opposite problem, a lack of rain over here. The ground is very dry and gardeners and I think farmers are praying for some rain. Happily my builders are making good progress and the concrete is being poured this week for the ground floor. Let’s hope you get some dry weather soon.

@Mike_S at least you have some new firmware to play with now. I had a great listening session last night (my wife is away on a mini cruise) and it took ages to get to bed

They’re a bit of a cult thing here, great little car but it’s useless on the highway. It’s like a farmers sports car.:rofl:
