And Mark Zuckerberg seems to be a rather unpleasant person, one way or another. I avoid Facebook as much as I can.
Hereās another ā30 Years Agoāā¦Feb 11th.
An important update!! Just got our first hedgehog of the year in the back garden. Itās not big so weāre thinking itās perhaps one of the hoglets from late last year that were coming each night for a feed. Anyway itās now tucking into a nice big pile of hog food Such a shame weāre moving in a couple of weeks time Weāll miss the wildlife
ā¦take it easy with pain killers with the gin chasers.
G&T for breakfast: Fell into the gutter: G&T for lunch: Fell downstairs: G&T for dinner ā¦thereās a pattern emerging here somewhere
This will help soothe the pain and rehabilitation @Pete_the_painter . Iāve just sent my Dad a bottle for his birthday. Itās German , delicious and worth seeking out if available Down Under .
Good morning all.
I hate Facebook anyway. I shutdown my account 5 or so years ago. These tech giantās think theyāre above the law and often pay little or no tax. They sell your data amd target you with useless and unsolicited junk.
They treat you as the commodity.
Weāre only a small market here and theyāre prepared to burn us as they are scared other countries will follow our lead. We maybe small market but weāre stubborn and donāt like being push around.
Anyway would you expect from a guy who apparently only set up Facebook to pick up chicks.
Thanks for youāre concern, Iām not good at taking painkillers and have only taken them when required. As for the g and t I donāt drink much either 2 last evening (no painkillers) and I donāt normally drink during the week, well until all these lockdowns at least.
Thatās looks interesting amd probably expensive, Iāll have a look today. Cheers.
Itās about Ā£40-45 here so not cheap but do-able . My Dad has no idea how much it costs and every time I visit he asks ā Can you bring a bottle of Monkey? ā ā¦ Of course Dad , no worriesā¦ .
Itās always a problem with a bottle of anything, thereās an end.
Good thing about a nice GnT is one good one Is sufficient . Apparently
Weāve a couple here at the moment, but itās summer and when we usually see them. Or smell the dead ones, which can be hard to find.
Was listening to a boffin carrying on about how we might need to relocate to Mars to ensure our (human) survival. Iām not a scientist but I would have thought it wouldāve been cheaper and wiser to make some hard decisions and save the planet weāve living on. But hey what do I know.
I think the planetās safe enough, itās recovered from some pretty extensive mass extinctions before.
Iām not sure weād all fit on Mars.
Weād all fit but getting there is going to be the problem. Canāt see the poor and disadvantaged getting a seat.
Indeed - humans might not survive but life will continue on the planet
Wait until the construction of the Death Star is finished.
Quite right - forgot about that
