The Grand Cafe

And Mark Zuckerberg seems to be a rather unpleasant person, one way or another. I avoid Facebook as much as I can.

Hereā€™s another ā€˜30 Years Agoā€™ā€¦Feb 11th.

An important update!! Just got our first hedgehog of the year in the back garden. Itā€™s not big so weā€™re thinking itā€™s perhaps one of the hoglets from late last year that were coming each night for a feed. Anyway itā€™s now tucking into a nice big pile of hog food  Such a shame weā€™re moving in a couple of weeks time :frowning: Weā€™ll miss the wildlife :frowning:

This will help soothe the pain and rehabilitation @Pete_the_painter . Iā€™ve just sent my Dad a bottle for his birthday. Itā€™s German , delicious and worth seeking out if available Down Under .

Good morning all.

I hate Facebook anyway. I shutdown my account 5 or so years ago. These tech giantā€™s think theyā€™re above the law and often pay little or no tax. They sell your data amd target you with useless and unsolicited junk.

They treat you as the commodity.

Weā€™re only a small market here and theyā€™re prepared to burn us as they are scared other countries will follow our lead. We maybe small market but weā€™re stubborn and donā€™t like being push around.

Anyway would you expect from a guy who apparently only set up Facebook to pick up chicks.

Thanks for youā€™re concern, Iā€™m not good at taking painkillers and have only taken them when required. As for the g and t I donā€™t drink much either 2 last evening (no painkillers) and I donā€™t normally drink during the week, well until all these lockdowns at least. :+1:

Thatā€™s looks interesting amd probably expensive, Iā€™ll have a look today. Cheers.

Itā€™s about Ā£40-45 here so not cheap but do-able . My Dad has no idea how much it costs and every time I visit he asks ā€˜ Can you bring a bottle of Monkey? ā€˜ ā€¦ Of course Dad , no worriesā€¦ :joy:.

Good thing about a nice GnT is one good one Is sufficient . Apparently

Weā€™ve a couple here at the moment, but itā€™s summer and when we usually see them. Or smell the dead ones, which can be hard to find.

Was listening to a boffin carrying on about how we might need to relocate to Mars to ensure our (human) survival. Iā€™m not a scientist but I would have thought it wouldā€™ve been cheaper and wiser to make some hard decisions and save the planet weā€™ve living on. But hey what do I know.

I think the planetā€™s safe enough, itā€™s recovered from some pretty extensive mass extinctions before.
Iā€™m not sure weā€™d all fit on Mars.

Weā€™d all fit but getting there is going to be the problem. Canā€™t see the poor and disadvantaged getting a seat.

Indeed - humans might not survive but life will continue on the planet

Wait until the construction of the Death Star is finished.

Quite right - forgot about that

If you havenā€™t seen Eddie Izzardā€™s routine on the Death Star Canteen then do have a look - absolutely brilliant
