I think it’s really disappointing that Naim aren’t communicating with their customers on whether there will be a 272 replacement. It doesn’t really align with having a long term customer relationship.
Claire was quite clear that they aren’t looking to upgrade the Unitis, but when it comes to the 272 it’s radio silence. Not very consistent.
There’s been a few who have jumped ship and gone to another manufacturer. I understand there are issues with component suppliers but confirming a replacement would give others reasons to wait. I really think it’s poor business practices and seems as if we’ve been taken for granted.
I’ve mentioned many times all their major competitors have a streaming pre amp. Naim seem as though there falling behind. Their pre amps haven’t really been updated for 20 years.
Think she’s already had hundreds of people ask me asking isn’t going to make any difference, they either don’t know themselves or they simply can’t be bothered.

I sent off a request on couple of occasions over the last couple of months or so, about whether they still have stock of the old chrome bumper facias as Harry is going to replace for me
Have had no response whatsoever so I just purchased them from a kind gent elsewhere, can’t hold off forever
Ha ha - if I have to deal with Telstra I walk down to their shop here in Balmain, they are very helpful, but having to deal with anything over the phone is a nightmare
Telstra our biggest communication company that can’t communicate with their customers. I waited on their help line a few months ago for 15 minutes only to get a recorded message telling me they’re busy and to call back. Appalling customer service.
Got through to one person who I was initially told by another ( after holding on for 15 minutes) she was the right person to assist, finally got through to her after 20 minutes, she said she wasn’t the right person so she transferred me to the right person and again I hung on for another 15 minutes, and Lo and behold he was the right person - about 50 minutes all up ha ha
My accountant won’t let me speak to them any more, I flew off at them once for wrongly targeting my business. No apology no nothing, the other way around I’d be in jail.
