Iā€™m thrilled itā€™s nice of these guys to offer my somewhere to paint for awhile. They only moved from Sydney a month after we arrived and we met them the day they moved out the front of the local post office.

Yes Bevo Iā€™m sure theyā€™ll be drinks. I will need to be aware that itā€™s a 10 minute drive home though.

Howā€™s your day/night been?

Didnā€™t sleep well. Different bed, surroundings etc.
Finished breakfast, quick scan through community, now off to first session which is gym work.
Might post at end of day.
Cheers Pete

Now completed day 2 of my residential stay at centre providing intensive physiotherapy.
Day started in the gym. Mainly floor exercises. Then session in fitness suite which was more machine oriented. Bikes, rowers, cross trainers, that sort of thing. Struggled a bit in there. I opted out of session in full sized pool because plays havoc with my tinnitus but took part in group outdoor walk.
Roll on Friday.

You enjoy it. People pay a fortune to have that sort of dedicated programme, or so Iā€™m told.

Take care and get fit.

There is a bar on the premises but Iā€™m taking a med that doesnā€™t mix well with alcohol plus I think you need to be fully focused to get the best out of the week.

Just had notifications that the Superlumina jumpers and Witchhat Morgana have both arrived today in Auckland. 7 weeks from Canada and 3 days from England. Iā€™m starting to think they sent the jumpers on a slow boat via Chinaā€¦. Still, should be here just in time for when we head to Auckland for a mini-break

Youā€™ll have something to look forward to when you get home.

@Bevo Thought Iā€™d continue it here so not to upset the thread police.

Met with the local Chamber of Commerce today, talked them into running a local art prize (which Iā€™ll be ineligible for). My company will help sponsor the winner. Itā€™ll be a start on Friday and drop off your work based on local landscape on the Sunday. It has to be done over that weekend and it has to be local.

Also going to Macquarie St next month to meet with the deputy Premier to fight for more funding for roads.

Thereā€™s a gallery in Mittagong which I just love going to - Sturt Gallery- paintings plus plenty more - itā€™s fantastic

They have an annual woodwork live in school for about 10 odd students ( young and not so young ) and at the end of it they have a big event where what they have made is displayed and one can purchase

Albeit if a student love their first piece they have made they keep it. There was was one piece this young guy had produced and I really wanted it but he chose to hang onto it which was great

Bought a few pieces from there , I love going there , it makes me feel really happy

Yep roads are pretty stuffed when one leaves the big smokes

Good luck
