Quite agree….and I’m a Brit!
Though I agree with Pete also re Charles, has been better than I presumed….

Still, we should be grateful we can criticise….I lived and have regularly visited Thailand for many years and you really have to watch your step there…I was working in Media circles at the time and so was conscious of the Lèse-majesté law, but for ordinary Thais (as well as naive Farang) it can be a serious issue……I’d love to say what I think of the succession there, but really shouldn’t take the risk….!:flushed:

Yes, the English language landed on the American shores centuries ago and we have been adjusting the usage and pronunciation since it first arrived.

Least you guys fixed all those silent letters and made spelling easier.

As a dyslexic I find the spelling of that an insult.

It’s clearly a wind up! I can’t spell it off the top of my head and I’m not Dyslexic….though that’s probably more due to my education…

Siri is my new best friend.

Can she improve the metadata on my Core?

He has his plusses and minuses. At least he cares about the environment, and youth (e.g. Prince’s Trust). Not necessarily the sharpest knife in the drawer, but that doesn’t matter really.

Can’t argue with that.

It seems sometimes vinyl sucks up a lot of time tweaking although I’m sure it’s worth it. These days I simply don’t have the patience for all that messing around. It’s nice to sit back and listen to an album from start to finish without having to get up, clean side 2 and play it.

I enjoy having the option, and I do have a rather nice collection of old vinyl to enjoy. I’m not putting much cost into it, the LP12 was a lucky “barn find” and I’m not intending to go down an upgrade rabbit hole, or even buy much more vinyl, but certainly enjoy the nostalgia of my old 80’s collection that fortunately I keep over all those years.
