The Naim CD3 saga draws to a disappointing close

So i finally received my CD3 back from an interstate repair shop (after $350 and 7 months) they didn’t manage to fix it and sent it back in the mail without the locking screw in place or the puck.

Not a Naim authorised service centre then?

They had it for 7 months, didnt fix it - but charged you US$350 - :astonished: :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Was it a lawnmower repair shop?

NO, I reckon that it was sent to a butcher’s shop.

Why didn’t the RSPCA - Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Amplifiers (cares about CD players too) not intervene?

I do my own ‘lawnmower’ servicing, I have 50 acres.

yes it was. Naim were contacted during the process I was told.

Just to clarify, are you saying the repair shop was a Naim Authorised Service Center ?

“Interstate repair shop” sort of rings alarm bells.
