Including me !!
Mrs Mike won on the lotto ticket I got for her for Mothers Day. Enough for one new vinyl No NC for me
Especially since Iāve been in your accounts over night.
Ha ha
Yes but youāre assuming sheāll share it with you.
A jokes aside I am looking forward to the launch of these new classics. Iāve been banging on about the pre amps needing an upgrade for ages. Itās just a pity that unless like Mrs Mike I win lotto my journey is complete. These price increases havenāt helped, I may have to wait till the new new classics are released in 20 or so years.
I look at it this way
Down south I have the 252/SCDR/250DR
From memory cost me $33.3k, three and half years ago
Probably cost say $50k-$55k plus cables to replace that
With classic discounts that have gone on the changeover gap is massive
In twenty years Iām pretty sure I wonāt be around, and if by some fluke I am Iāll be a damn sight poorerā¦
Soā¦ Iāll look forward to reading your review of the New New stuffā¦er, somehow!
Iāll probably be sitting next to you.
I was 18 and living in a share house on the beach.
I was 12 years old and liked ice cream
The website confirms the following on the phono stage:
ā¦the NVC TT phono preamplifier and its dedicated power supply NPX TT
Confirming it, and the PSU option to power it directly vs a powered 8 pin DIN (that the NSC222 offers).
Not wanting to poke any bears/disturb any hornets, but the 8 pin DIN on the NSC222 means that combined power/signal cables are still with us?
-5 I was.
Still want to buy an amp & tt from 1978
Surely it was meant to say āyearā not ādateā
I was 5)
I was 5, and 40 miles away in Bath my dad was building a pair of speakers from a Wharfedale kit to go with his Sansui receiver and Garrard turntable. I was probably trying to cut my sisterās hair or some other mischief.
I wasnāt even a glint in the milkmanās eye
Nā¦nnā¦nā¦nnnnā¦Nineteen! Still 10 years away from my first Linn/Naim system.
