You’re nobody without a Naim. I like the Naim sound too. Don’t dig Rega sound too much.
I don’t think there is a naim sound as such … there are Naim trademark capabilities…rhythmic impetus, snappy, great clarity - all of these possibly at the expense of stereo effects …ie depth. put some live recorded music through a well setup Naim system … and it will really boogie…and convey music in a very enjoyable manner … anyway thats my take… The more recent (non chrome bumper) electronics are getting better and better at retaining the above and giving good stereo imagery…win win
