The new NAIT 50 Limited Edition

Go get the Petite 30’s I have them plus the petite classics ( in another system at another location)

Better than the motives sx3

I suspect a cracking combination with the nait 50

I just watched the Audiobarn unboxing video on YouTube, 20 seconds in, the cardboard box on top of the amp should have had 2 leads in. Definitely sounds like you are missing a lead.

Check out that video if you can. And/or give AudioT a call? I think you bought it from them?

My NAIT 50 will be powering Falcon LS3/5As, when I have tracked down some music player to be used as a source.

Thank you. I’m really not too bothered. I am very happy with the Naim-sourced power lead that I have, even though it didn’t come in my most recent Naim box.

I would contact your dealer to chase up the Powerline Lite in that case.

You’ve paid for it and is part of the special edition.

:+1: I think you could be right, will get down and have a listen/arrange a home demo…

Nice speakers…

I know a few folks have already proposed…a modern (small footprint) streamer would give you so much music choice !! As an old git, I managed to set up one last week (EverSolo) in a few minutes, to go with my '50…

Well dare I say YorkshirePud

Neat Petites would be great combo with any naim amps let alone the Nait 50 :+1:

My NAIT 50 has certainly got me back using my main system. Don’t get me wrong, the Atom I had running it was superb but there’s something about the 50’s phono stage that totally edges the Atom plus external Project DS2 box I was using. I’m not even referring to the Atom digitising the analogue source (something I think it does rather well). It’s just more… “velvety” especially with the music I like most (The National, Lana del Rey, Low etc). It captures nuance, vocals have a 3 dimensional quality and instruments sit properly in space. The transients occupy their natural place and the depth is palpable.
It can also rock the house down into my Kef LS50 METAs. Some classic Iron Maiden (remastered vinyl versions) causes it no concerns, it drives the tunes hard in an almost “live” experience.
There’s simply so much music when it drives them, detail and punch, subtlety when needed. It’s a surefire winner.
The bonus is that my mancave now has a Uniti Atom…

mine with both
2pin
3pin

Usually there would be variants in the system; uk with pl lite, eu with 2 pin etc. I guess there’s some reason why everyone received 2 leads even though 1 of them for everyone is nigh on useless.
I have a collection of 2 pin eu iec leads from various things.

The LED ‘colour’ fun draws to an end ()

For completion, the final 2 shades arrived. A clear (colourless) diffuser and a denser white diffuser.

The denser white diffuser tames the glare/intensity very nicely and will be the norm, and it retains the original intent; t’other colours will be used ad-hoc.

Thanks Steve S for yr assistance in this.

Can now enjoy the music without LED distraction :notes:

Looks great and better in soft white than cold blue-ish IMO :+1: Blue lights should not be anywhere near HIFI products to be honest. So distracting.

Was it this one the winner.?

Today a denser white version arrived (D2), even better than the last winner (D)…

So, more of the same effect… :+1:

Still can’t understand the fuss about this.

My new NAIT is putting out a clear white light when switched on, but not remotely extreme or off-putting.
