I would not use DAVE if you are purely using Tidal (or Qobuz). The processing the cloud providers do rob some of the master transparency these DACs can offer with rips and downloads.
I wouldn’t call DAVE analytical… I would call it transparent without filtering… if the media is analytical, the DAVE will render it as such, and vice versa.
I think some may suffer with such high end DACs using interconnects that subtly colour the audio such as etching or highlighting. Use the right interconnect and this doesn’t happen. I do now and try and avoid coaxial interconnects and silver plated copper if I can.
How do connect your NDX2 to your DAVE? (Presuming I’m up to date with your system).

Sorry I was referring to coaxial audio interconnect leads and connectors without a consistent characteristic impedance…
The SPDIF lead and connectors has a CI of 75 ohms and as such is fine being coaxial.
this thread is kind of LONG to look back thru
Try using key words in the search feature and you may find it instead of the same responses being repeated over and over which can get boring as well.
Search can be your friend…
Why are they suddenly selling them so cheap?
I think some dealers bought a lot of stock initially but didn’t get the expected sales, so now are needing to release the capital held in stock to fund their businesses.
A great deal as it’s a forever amp.
Always room for an amp like this somewhere in the house.
Fabulous, both the gear and the music. I’m a long term Josquin addict.
The LED still kills me
It does appear to slightly dim over time though
Ahhh the North Star.
I don’t think it’s as piercingly laser-like as the blue LED was on the old Akurate Radikal.
I sooo want one!!
Somebody suggested a sort of plastic/rubber dot to fit over the led, will dim light.
Yes, I got my little cover from RS components
Or it is so bright that it gradually burns one’s eyes, making the light itself seem more dim
