No TT connected. Streamer ( nd5xs2/ndac) is my only source in this setup. Only pressed phono inpt by mistake today and noticed the crosstalk.
Donât press phono
Itâs because it isnât loaded.
If you connect a turntable and complete the circuit sorted.

I recently had the same thing⌠accidently selected phono and, although I didnât notice any crosstalk, I did notice a loud humming. Got some rca shorting plugs at Amazon for peanuts money (8 pieces for less than âŹ10,- incl p&p) and itâs now quite as a mouse. (only not selecting the phono input is cheaper) 
Iâm sure connecting 2 of those shorting plugs will solve your crosstalk issue!

The Emerson is a lovely simple solution for those that want a good a UI experience without all the âwhistles and bellsâ (how many do you actually use?) and excellent sound quality. A little box that just delivers through itâs simplicity.
Also, full disclosure: my Nait2 is non-standard.

Thanks for that info! I have a Node with a nDac,and I wonder how it would compare. Need to try the Emerson somehow.
Soundstage Hifi might be able to help if you are in the UK (no affiliation, never bought from them).

I had a Technics SL1500 direct drive turntable from new in 1975. I used to love the strobe light show every time I turned it on. lol

has anybody compared the sound of nn50 with the new naim uniti starlight?

The Star Lite is basically a Star without the cd mechanism plus maybe some usability tweaks.
Nait 50>Nova>Star(Lite)
And some SQ improvements at least according to Naim.

nice to meet you. Not too many Naim people here. How long have you had Naim for? My first was in 1990. Asking to see if we happened to use the same dealer back then.

I found Naim and Linn through The Boutique of Sounds in Calgary. After Robertâs closure of the business I found Hi Fi Centre and the finest of gentleman John Tan. He lead me back to Calgary with the people at The Audio Room, who are currently responsible for my empty wallet because of vinyl purchases

Well source first? Well how about a Vivaldi 3 piece stack. Well thats what i have been doing this morning.
Had to make up a cable from an old naim lavender cable i had, so rca to din.
Turned the vivaldi output down to 2 volts and off we went.
Used my 808âs speakerâs and ks1 cable, so basically just replaced the vitus sia030 with the nait 50.
Now the nait is secondhand and has been used, i wanted to make sure it worked ok as it will be some weeks before it gets used properly in a system of its own.
So how does it sound, well it doing very well, it has lost some width and especially height, as well as bass, but really it doing very well and certainly hasnât been a let down in any way.
Canât remember exactly what my 500dr was like when i ran it like this, but its probably not that different, but thatâs really nothing to go by as it was some time ago.
But the little nait is or was cold out the box, i wasnât expecting it to compete with the vitus and so it shouldnât do, but its very pleasing and certainly punching well above what i paid for it. Also i can use the volume on my dac so no getting up and down, a nice bonus that i have already realised i will want when its in its own system.
But pleased to say no humming, but it does have the hiss from the speakers thatâs back and thatâs something i havenât had for some time.
But overall very happy with it and i can certainly see it being far better than what i will ever need. I said i wasnât interested in the nait 50 as it will be far to good, but this came up at a nice price,i was out bid on ebay on the other 2 bits i went after and thats where we are.
So going to use the wiim into it, maybe with the mojo2 between them, maybe not, only time will tell, just need to find some sneakers that fit into the space ok and work well. I was thinking sblâs, but decided against that as too big really, plus i wonât have the soild wall.

Thats a very nice setup you have there, the Nait 50 is rather special I bet it sounds great with the Qutest and Gyrodec
