I had a QB8 mkII, then QB8 mkIII, and with Heimdall2 power cables. But I ended up on this power setup before getting any Naim gear.

So for me who knows if it really works with Naim? Sounds good to me.

Did a full teardown and rebuild yesterday. Here are some pictures. Went back to fundamentals. System is singing now - with a little sense I wont touch it for a while.

Wiremold Powerstrip, Powerlines.
Hiline between 555 and 552. super lumina between 552 and 500. Naca5.

Music is flowing - forward propulsion like you’d expect from a naim system. No congestion. Lovely midrange, smooth sweet top end (probably due to addition of super lumina din-xlr).

Nordost Red Dawn used for the Forester F1 and UnitiCore, Those two units also powered by a Wiremold.

Setup:

Brain: ND555/Nac552/Nap500

Brawn:
Ethernet clutter on top (EE8, EE1Plus, Silent Angel Forester)
Nap 500 PSU
Nac552 PSU
Digital PSU
Analog PSU

Not being hit on the head with unrealistic detail with Valhalla2/Freys.
But now the system is well put together and singing again - and hopefully in a way that’s reproducible - will try the Nordost again in a few days.
