The Rolling Stones on Qobuz

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that the 24/192 versions of Beggars Banquet and Let it Bleed seem to have dissapeared.

Apologies if this has already been covered in another thread.

In NYC I have quite a selection of hi-res versions of those two albums to stream - the 50th anniversary version in 192 and 96, and the original in 176.4 and 88.2.

I can also get DSD versions as a download.

FYI - I have a Sublime account. Not sure if that matters.

I’m in the UK and have the ordinary Qobuz account (can’t recall its name). Last time I looked the HiRes versions were available for me to stream but not today. Don’t know what’s going on

Yes they have. My dealer warned me about streaming services becoming more selective with albums/tracks going forward. It’s one of the reasons I’ve just bought a Core.

That said, if personal experience is anything to go by, they’ll be back on in a few days.

Thanks. I hope they are back soon; they were two of the albums I streamed most. That said I’ve listened to them both on CD this afternoon and they still sound superb.

Seems quite a few versions available to me here in Dublin.

(Although I think Qobuz think I’m in the USA [cheaper in dollars])

Yes. I cannot seem to access them. The only versions of either album are 16/44.1. Bit p’d off about it :frowning:

There is something weird with my Qobuz search for these albums, search just on Rolling Stones they don’t show up hires, search on album title they do ?

That’s screenshots from the qobuz app, I can play them both 24/192.
Enter ā€œrolling beggarsā€ or ā€œrolling bleedā€ in the search.

I am finding that Qobuz search is generally poor at the moment. It takes quite a bit of effort to find some things. It was better than this.

Just followed your advice and found them. Saved them as favourites. Thanks for the help.

Didn’t work for me.

Sorry to hear that. They are popularly considered to be 2 of the 4 best Stones albums (with Sticky Fingers and Exile on Main Street). It would be surprising if Qobuz made a conscious decision to ditch the HiRes versions. Can’t help but think it’s an error / glitch and that they will be made available again.

Try going onto the Stones section in Qobuz. In the ā€˜tracks’ section there are tracks from both albums. If you click on the 3 dots beside them and then take the see or go to album option, you should be able to access the album and save it to your favourites

qobuz search has always been pretty hit and miss eg artist search often misses many albums. but it does seem to have got worse recently. perhaps qobuz connect is consuming most of their development resources? as suggested trying several ways and then favoriting seems the best approach

Does this link work?

The same method outlined in my post above, also works (for me) in the Naim App.

In my computer Qobuz app there isn’t a go to album option when you click on the 3 dots. I haven’t checked the Naim app yet.

Both of those links work. Interesting!

And if I put the album ID’s (ljuez9eu6f9ma and c84hu3nyek6pc) in my Qobuz computer app search I get the HiRes versions. Thanks!

Do you have a similar link for Sticky Fingers please?
