Definitely be there
Nice photos, but what is the grey convertible please?
Gorgeous Maserati. My neighbour who rents one of our barns has an old Lancia Flavia Cabriolet. It’s awaiting a full restoration and while investigating the awful white paint job we discovered the original colour underneath was a similar grey to the Maserati. It would look stunning in that original colour, with a wine red leather interior.
I’m pretty sure it’s a Maserati 3500GT Vignale Spyder.
Interesting. I first thought it had a look of an old Bristol
@Richard.Dane Thank you
Had the pleasure today to see the magnificent 7mm scale Millicent Street in the flesh at the Normanton & Pontefract model railway show, a great show, well done guys.
Drove one of these from Konstanz (Germany) to Newcastle upon Tyne (Spring 1982). Sold later to a left-hand drive dealership in London (for more than it cost to buy in Germany)
Just seen this layout at the Pontefract show. Thanks for the heads up - I mentioned it to the team at the show who were gobsmacked it appeared on a music forum and passed on their thanks. DGP
Long story short, myself and @PaperPlane were going to meet up at the show, unfortunately that didn’t happen on this occasion, but the layout is superb, I’m just re-reading about its construction on the Western Thunder modeling site (other sites are available, but they are not as good )
Thanks for passing on the heads up.
Cheers Gary
Drove to see what was going on at RAF Valley this morning as the wind and rain was calming down. Hoped to see some Hawks in action which we did. Rubbish picture.
However we were also treated to an F35 cruising around at low level.
It’s excellent model, O gauge makes for a good layout. Neil from your group has shared several images with me as it has been progressing.
