just completed and submitted my 25/26 tax return to HMRC, boring I know, and I normally leave it to late January each year because it is so boring. For the first time in years HMRC might actually owe me some money rather than the other way round. Mind you its only my money that they asked for “on account” when i completed my 24/25 return earlier this year. So in reality its a return of my money that they incorrectly demanded from me earlier in the year. Still small victories and all that. Expect further turbulence at the long end of the bond market when word gets out ![]()
On track for the urology department. Or hunt the old man’s’ todger clinic.
Amount of blood in the urine sample was ‘unnatural’ 1000s of markers instead of the usual few.
Hope all goes well
best wishes
Ian
I spent the morning at the Courtauld Gallery (London) at the Barbara Hepworth exhibition, a dozen or so sculptures all using colour and a range of drawings. If you like Hepworth’s work well worth a look, it’s wonderful, it finishes at the weekend.
And then a stroll round the permanent Impressionist/Post Impressionist collection which is always a joy.
All the best Nick.
I’ll take the queenie in a tree. Kitsch, but also terrific!
All the best
Finally got back on the the Granada mk1 after faffing around with ‘project solar and the replacement wheel arch is a really good fit.
The inner arch edge was scrappy so I cut it out - it’s better to get the best possible alignment of the outer arch and then repair the inner bit afterwards. This way it will be the right shape and strong. Nothing is fastened yet just some neodymium magnets holding things in place.
I hope it’s only a minor infection. Take care

First day of spring (Tuesday 1/9, we go off the calendar) and it’s already 25c with 29c tipped for Friday. This follows the warmest winter on record and a hot dry summer forecast.
Also finally been cleared for my treatment today.
One of my favourite pastimes
What treatment is today Pete ?
Immunotherapy (Retux), it’s my last scheduled therapy.
Fingers crossed all done mate ![]()
