# Thoughts re New 2027 Magico A3 Speakers

A few days ago, Magico announced the total redesign of their A3 speakers (Magico’s cheapest floorstanders). Far from cheap at 25k but I am sorely tempted. Any thoughts or speculations welcome.

Hi,

We can’t be leaving you to wait more than a day for a response.

I think you should find a way to take a listen when they (the new Magico A3 model) are at a nearby retail outlet. However, given that your profile shows you as in the Napa Valley, perhaps a trip to the Magico factory is quicker?

As a Magico owner myself (having auditioned the A1, A5, S1, S2 and S3 newer model and previous) I would not start this process unless you have some reasonable likelihood of being able to follow through to purchase.

FYI, when I began to hear Magico loudspeakers for the first time I compared the S1 and S3. It was an easy decision to select the higher model in the S range.

Thanks very much for reply. Listening to them first of course would be ideal (I have a dealer that is just south of San Francisco) but it seems a pretty good bet that the new A3 would be a material improvement over version one.

Good advice re being able to purchase: I listened to the S2 a few months back and have not been able to shrug off how good it was.
