I’m thinking about dumping Roon in favour of using the Tidal Native app. Various reason, that I won’t go into here.
However, despite there being an Airplay Icon that allows me to connect the App from my iphone to Muso, Bose mini, etc, I can’t find the ‘speaker Icon’ that apparently should allow direct connection to my ND5XS2.
My ND5 is only connected with ethernet, not wifi.
What am I missing that would allow the Tidal App to connect to the ND5??
I seem to have self-solved my problem, well partially…
I had a thought to check the iPad and there it is, the speaker icon is there and I can select the the ND5. Begs the question why it doesn’t show on iphone… I’ll see if I can sort and report back…
Is your phone software and Tidal app up to date?
appears to be 2.142.0 on app , but IOS is 1 dot release down… so I’ll update that and see…
