I’ve just subscribed to Tidal HiFi and I can play it to my Nova through chromecast via my iPad, this seems to have more features to the pre installed Tidal on the Nova. Is there any difference in sound quality between the two?
Unless they changed the app to allow masters over Chromecast then it wont be any better and possibly worse than native as Chromecast has more overheads on the unit compared to UPnP. Wait until Tidal Connect update is released as that will likely be the best but still no masters.
