I know there are mounds of topics on this but I can’t seem to find the necessary. If I try to login to Tidal on the Naim app (android) it takes me through to entering my username, then another page for my password, accepts it then flashes up a page saying “You may now close this window and return to the TIDAL app.” For the life of me I cannot find out how to get back to the Naim app with Tidal logged in. If I click on it again from within the Naim app it just asks me for login details again. Going slowly mad.
Happens with both my NDS and Nova. Used to work just fine on both.
If you are using the app in dark mode, try switching to light mode. There is another example recently of a key link word (in the Core actually) not being visible in dark mode as that link word (or maybe it’s just an x this time) is always black whatever the app display mode.
Thanks for the ideas, but no joy. Still just sitting there saying I can now close the window. with no link to do so. If I close the Naim app than reopen it I’m back to square one.
Hi @ewencummins
I don’t suppose you have Firefox set as your default browser do you?
We’re aware that a recent Firefox update broke the sign in mechanism for TIDAL when logging in from the app.
We’re looking into a way that we can try and resolve this at our end to workaround the Firefox issue, but in the mean time, setting your default browser to something else (Chrome for eg) should do the trick.
Just as a thank you note, indeed changing from Firefox to Chrome solved the issue.
However, since the addblockers available for Firefox are so much better I’d appreciate if this ever works with Firefox again. Any update welcome.
