Been told its going up £2? to protect artists and ‘rightsholders’ (whoever they are) dont know how many people use it but that’s a lot of money . Not a big user though have a fairly large album collection like it best for exploring artists ive never heard of any thoughts out there?
First time in three years and rising to £12.99 a month. No complaints from me. I sell my music via Tidal and so am supportive of a streaming service that focus on musicians and artists.

Whilst I use Qobuz, £12.99 per month represents incredible value for money at around 43p per day unlimited use.
What’s not like when new release CDs are similarly priced and vinyl albums are between £20 and £35 each.

Thanks. Solo music creator and producer… I’m only small scale and haven’t released anything in over a year.. it takes so much time to do and finesse.. at least for me… but the stream income (very) slowly drips in… very satisfying to do.
My style is electronica, IDM, experimental … although I play folk as well which has taken more of my time lately .. quite contrasting 
.. but haven’t published anything in that genre…. Yet.
These days it so much easier to record and release than years ago. Very satisfying… at least in my experience. Tunesque is one of my names…

It was distributed to all the cloud providers as 48/24 PCM…. some then resample and/or transcode down, unfortunately Tidal is one of them… for my sort of music it doesn’t really matter that much 
its actually a little more than that But thanks - all contributions welcome

My friends Son was involved with a fairly successful act, they used CD Baby to do all the distribution and monetisation of both their releases & videos on YouTube, they take a cut obviously but it seemed fairly efficient and hassle free
Sure, I use DistroKid. They also distribute to download providers… but there are a few out there. I use DistroKid as I was recommended them by a musician friend.

That’s pretty cool Simon, I’m strictly a listener as can’t play, sing and not particularly technical - which put any dreams I had of being a rock star firmly on ice!
Back to OP when I think about how many CD’s I use to buy £12.99 a month is really good value for unlimited access.
