Just trying it out on my QNAP NAS. Works well and I can see that I can access my Naim Core on the Bubble app whilst down the beach!

Just a question: was Tidal SQ okay before the last FW update and did it sound worse with FW 4.9? There is a big debate going on with gen. 2 streamers on SQ but I wonder if gen. 1 streamers FW update also affected SQ? I myself have my unitilite and iradio definitely improved with 4.9 but I am not so sure about Tidal. My feeling is that it is a bit too bright for my tasting. Can’t quite remember how it was before the update.

Hello, just an update - the bubble solution has worked well running from android. I have run Tidal from the Naim app this morning and its all working well too. Has there been an update that would have affected this? SQ is very good. Thanks
hmm after 2+ hours of working fine 272 is not responding/undiscoverable and has hung!
It happens.
In general I’ve found it better since the latest update. No other changes to the network etc.
I see that bubble only supports android; any solution for apple iOS?

The best solution is to run BubbleUPnP Server on a NAS or computer on your network. Once set up, you would use a third party iOS app such as Lumin or Linn to control it and your streamer.
