Excellent race today. Is anyone broadcasting this for the 8 days in English. I have access to French channels but my poor French can not keep up with the commentary.

Stage 2: Meaux - Provins (136.4km)

An early 4th category climb could provide the springboard for a breakaway but this is a long flat stage which favours the sprinters.

Today’s results have caused a shuffle in the top ten GC, Marianne Vos remains in Yellow but two jersey changes with the Youth Classification (white jersey) which is now on the back of Julie de Wilde after her 14th place finish ahead of the main peloton, and Femke Gerritse takes the Polkadot.

Horrendous pile up during stage 5
Emma Norsgaard (Movistar) abandons tour via hospital.

Also a strange case of disqualification, Barbara Malcotti (Human Powered Health) after receiving help from her team car in front of the race - deemed a dangerous place due to crash risk.

Shocking to watch so many riders involved in that crash. I hope all who were injured can recover quickly.

There seems to be an awful amount of crashes. I didn’t watch last nights but there were a lot of individual stacks the night before.

There have been a few crashes. I haven’t followed womans cycling before but is this because of a lack of peloton riding experience?
