I’ve got Les Miserable on my Star storage, However when looking at the track list some are in German.
However looking at the storage on my pc at the track list and they are all in English!!!.
I’ve tried resetting the app and rebuilding the database but no change.
So If anyone has any ideaswhat could be causing this strange thing I would be pleased to hear them.
Nb. no other albums are affected
When you look at the PC, unless you’re looking at the embedded tag information using a program, you’ll be seeing the filename. The Star is looking at the tag information embedded inside each file. If you have dbPoweramp on your PC, or mp3tag, then you can look at the tag information and edit it.
It could be that the track name in the meta data is in German but the name of the file is in English. You would need to look at the metadata using something like dbpoweramp which you can get download free for a trial period. Search for dbpoweramp music converter and down load it than use edit meta data.

If you are using the Star in server mode, you will be seeing the metadata. If you are using it to view USB storage via the USB input rather than the server input, you will see the folder names.
Where did you download the audio from - Qobuz often seem to have less than stellar metadata - don;t forget the filename may not reflect the embedded metadata. Or did you rip the audio ?
I ripped it from my CD, .
Have you tried to use the Naim app to edit metadata to the English version?
When it ripped it must have found German metadata on whatever database was used. All you need to do is edit the track names.
This reminds me of ripping recently a 3 CD set of fantastic piano music by Messian. My UnitiCore found metadata only on FreedB and this gave the track names in French (as the composer is French of course) with German translations in brackets. Clearly the kind person who put the metadata on a FreedB was German. Not speaking German myself at all and my French not being up to translating the names of some fairly obscure birds which are the track names, I spent some time replacing the German translations with English ones). It took ages. A labour of love as it were…

This problem is almost certainly Mrs. May’s doing.
I would blame Eurovision but they have packed up until next year.
You were right, I’ve edited it with Mp3 tag and chosen the right recording from the uk, All ok now.
