Poor old Jack had glass ankles what a player though, I saw him live as a 16 year old completely dominate a full strength Newcastle United team in a Carling Cup match and the following season he came up against Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets in the Champions League and was
sensational.
Agreed, he had all the talent to be something special. Shame about the injuries but it’s pleasing to see what he’s starting to achieve in management.

My preference would be driving, to control all of the handling, time of day and temperature. Also check the insurance position on both alternatives, just in case. Accidents do happen. What would your collection cost to replace (if even possible)? Then take photos/video of everything to be able to prove that insurance claim if (heaven forbid) required. That might also help with any allegations that it was for commercial or export purposes, i.e. pictures of recrod collection in situ before transporting.
Observations from having stored some vinyl:
1- If you use plastic sleeves, make sure you unpack ASAP, and (obviously) keep away from higher temperatures, as sleeves can meld to these, partly as the sleeve can go sticky in some instances.
2- be mindful of potential for sweating inside the boxes and/or inside plastic sleeves.
Having such a carefully curated collection of vinyl, I wouldn’t be trusting it to a courier, if there is a tenable alternative.

Thanks good advice regarding plastic covers and I’m almost 100% certain I’ll be driving it over myself after speaking to a couple of companies who after listening to my questions basically said they wouldn’t be interested in moving them and personally I wouldn’t trust them to do so safely.
