Hiya, I listen to FIP a lot, but there’s a problem with the feed. Every FIP station is playing out some UK commercial station. The feeds all start with an advert for Mecca Bingo. Could a technical bod have a look? Cheers Aidan

I rarely listen to radio, but when I do, it’s only Fip.

We’ve checked all the FIP feeds and they are playing the same content as the FIP website.
For example the main channel FIP uses url:
http://icecast.radiofrance.fr/fip-hifi.aac

Saying all this one of my colleagues who listens to FIP via ISP Virgin Media finds that he gets UK injected adverts at the start of every stream. We believe FIP are doing some experiment that random listeners outside of France get adverts.
Can you provide more details of ISP and if the url above works or not.

Thanks for replying. Yes that link worked. Earlier today I deleted all my FIP presets / favourites. I’ve just been through all the FIP stations, and they’re all working fine once again. Weird. I’m a huge FIP fan, so glad to have it back. Many thanks Aidan.
We get our internet through Plusnet, if that has any bearing on things.
I did notice over the summer for a few weeks there was a strange English advert (20-30seconds) when I selected a FIP url stream via Mconnect, thankfully that has stopped now and I can listen normally.
FIP is the best.
