Depending on what your ears say, I’d guess at anywhere between £1500-£4000.

With an LP12, you don’t have to spend it all at once…!! You can go in stages… 
(my recent ‘stages’ have included a Lingo and then a Kore)

I agree, completely.
As to whether decent vinyl played on any of these TTs outperforms music streamed via the 222, you will face a wide range of opinions ranging from vinyl rules to streaming is always fundamentally better. It’s a personal decision.
For us, the turntables I mentioned above will meet your objective. For you? Only you can decide, based on an audition.
