Be interested in hearing how they compare. I recently bought a Denon direct drive which is a similar design to the technics.
Every review compares the Denon with a Technics, so I don’t actually know how it compares to anything like a rega or linn.
I do know it sounds very good, very pleased with it. And I do know it looks better than a rega or linn.
I would not be surprised if the Technics 1300 GR would give serious competition vs a Linn Klimax lp12, with similar level cart and phono. The P10 should be in difficulty, preferably outclassed.
Thank for the information. Im using it with my supernait 3 and am surprised how muxh i like it versus my ndx2. Ive thought about trading the ndx2 for a nicer turntable. Going to keep it but…i am definitely going to demo a linn lp12
I own NDX2 and high spec LP12 which Peter @Cymbiosis has maintained and worked on for 20+ years (my system is in my BIO)
In my journey I needed to put the ££ into my main source which has always for me been LP12 and the music it produces is stunning
my journey into streaming followed my move from the CDX2/XPS to NDX, loved my NDX so when the time came NDX2 was natural replacement - the NDX2 is IMO as far better streaming than its younger brother
I love both sources, most of my NDX2 is Iradio and High Res, into 252/300DR into Kudos T505
demo a few turntables and let the music decide, of course you can then look at PSU for NDX
I have to say I am a vinyl fan, but the NDX2 give great music, so I would budget 3K plus for a deck and Yes you can get an excellent LP12 for 3K or a lot more…
