Being a bit old school I’m worried about disconnecting the speakers when resetting my Atom. Years ago I blew the output transistors on an amp by switching it on with no speakers connected. I guess there’s no possibility of this happening with the Atom???
(I’m no expert here, just thoughts.)
It’s nearly a „consumer“ device, so it would very much surprise me, if something like this can happen. (And there’s no warning letter in the box…)
In addition, you can run an Atom without speakers directly connected at all, when you have a power amp connected to the pre-out.
Thanks for your thoughts! Hadn’t thought of Atom being used as a preamp and therefore not requiring speakers. I feel suitably reassured!
