Uniti 2 and TIDAL streaming - any alternatives?

Hi all,
(I’m new to this forum and completely noob regarding HiFi)
Just happens that I inherited a Uniti 2 from my late father that I’ve been using quite a lot since, even though it lost its lights on screen panel and that unfortunately the CD player doesn’t work IDK why.
The thing is I recently moved from spotify to tidal and while spotify connect was working well for me, listening to tidal from Naim app is not the best experience (I can’t even play the playlists on shuffle).

I did the update 4.9 to be able to connect to Tidal account, and I hear Tidal Connect is not supported by Uniti 2, however I’d like to know what other options are there out there. Is there a way to control Naim’s outputs from the Tidal app or computer?

Thanks for your help.
Nicolas

Probably the simplest is to buy a separate streamer and use the uniti as an amp. Look at the wiim devices for starters, eversolo or lindeman limetree for more upmarket. The uniti 2 has digital inputs so you only need a streamer with digital output eg the limetree bridge.
It’s also worth contacting a Naim dealer to arrange a service.

Hi Nicolas

You can use an app like Bubble UPnP to log into your Tidal account and play to the Uniti.

Thanks Robert and Jay for your inputs, I’ll have a look at both options. I was looking for a trick more than a new piece of gear.
I’ll let you know!
