My uniti-2 has started making a clanging sound when a cd stops playing or when i insert a cd & the read has stopped.
It reads the cd then the usual sound of the laser mech going back to the stop position but where it used to be a quiet sound, it is now a sudden clang, this is the best way to describe it. On occasion it goes back without making the clang sound but it happens more often than not.
It’s playing cd’s no problem but this started today.
Also, when playing a cd & playing track 1 i can hear the cd wobbling inside the draw but as i move through the tracks the wobble becomes slower & eventually stops doing this at about track 4 or 5. I have other players here with no such issue.
Frustrating.
