Uniti 2 software update or not?

I have a 4 year old Uniti 2 in its original state. Never been updated.

Question is: should I bother to have the software updated or not? Would I get HD i-radio stations if I do?

The answer to the second question is no.
To the first? I’d say probably, yes, why not? (Except that it’s probably a bit of a hassle if you don’t have the right leads etc.)
I’m assuming the Uniti 2 has 192k streaming boards and can therefore stream Tidal. Do you? If not, the software upgrade might enable this possibility.

I would say that it’s worth using the latest firmware. What version is running on your Uniti?
The latest version is 4.7, and it includes a fix for some Tidal tracks that would fail to play, so as a Tidal user you should do it.

I’m wondering if it’s worth the hassle of doing a sw update and will it cure the problem my uniti 2 has. Moments of silence When streaming Tidal and Spotify: buffering?
