I’m planning to add external headphone amp to my HE using xlr-preouts.
Question is; what is the output level of xlr-preout if HE’s volume is set to 100?
Or is it “safe” to use a little lower volume setting, about 80?
Plan is that HE handles streaming and DAC’s job.
HE has very, very good soundquality by itself but i have very demanding headphones(DCA E3), and with external amp i can have little variations to sound also.
And i just want to try what happens with amp that has 7,5watts of power.
