I wonder if I use the pre-amp out of Atom and connect it to another amp, do I need to set the Atom’s volume to any specific value (100, 90, or any other value) to be equivalent with standard fixed pre-amp output level?
I use mine as a streamer into a Yamaha AV amp and just leave the volume set above 70. I find it easier to use it to make any adjustments on the Atom than the AV amp when streaming, this may only suit the way I’ve set up the AV amp up and not help but it works well in my system. It’ll also depend on how your going to use the Atom. I’m sure others may have options, cheers.
