Another one here who has always had ‘thud’ and ‘hiss’ with the various Naim items I have owned. Not a worry

I am surprised how unexpectedly it turned out.
Thud and hiss are ok, I do not have to worry, I keep the device and do not waste time replacing it with another one.
One task less to do, more time to enjoy the music 
But I cannot refrain from saying that a renowned Hi-Fi vendor explains additional “sounds” (hiss) as its design strategy to me sounds odd. Does it mean every amp hisses to some extent?
Or how much would one have to pay to have really “high fidelity”?
It is most likely the startup order of the components has been adjusted so that the DAC does not come online after the output stage or something like that.
