Honestly, I really don’t see any justification in buying a Uniti Core at 4x the price compared to a versatile NAS. If you tell me that a Core will sound better, I think a good network infrastructure has a bigger impact on sound quality. I can agree that a NAS is not as simple to install and configure than the Core, but it’s a very shallow learning curve and anyone can get it done without frustration.
I love my Naim product but the Core is not for me.
