Thinking of adding a Uniti Core to my Uniti Star. Overkill? What benefits over merely attaching an external USB attached drive for ripping and storing cd’s as well as downloaded music files? Would these benefits be marginal or significant? Thanks!

I have the Core, but since the Qobuz update came out ,i rarely use it. Not sure i would bother if i was starting over again.
