Never heard a Hegel amp, so cannot comment.
It would not be a factor to switch either when the resultant tv connection experience is so similar.
Hegel do not offer hdmi, at least not on the h400/h600 series.

I have a NOVA PE at home.
Don’t use it with the hdmi link.
Use AirPlay with my AppleTV.
Works like a charm. No delay.

Correct, but (as already noted to the OP) Hegel H200, H400 and H600 have Toslink inputs which can automatically wake up by use of f.e. the TV. TV remote can also be recognized by these Hegel devices and be used to control the TV volume.
