Uniti Nova - Spotify Connect

Hello,

I returned the Uniti Nova for warranty repair and they gave me a new unit because were not able to solve the problem with the screen.

On new device everything works fine but I have still problem connecting via Spotify Connect.
On the previous Nova I never had that problem.

Other connections such as Chromecast and AirPlay works fine. Tidal Connect also works.
I tried almost everything:

  • tried connected via Spotify Connect from web browser
  • tried connected another iPhone with a different account - also didn’t see the device
  • did a hard reset of the Naim
  • did a router reset
  • changed the router for another one

And still device cannot be seen via Spotify Connect.
I have no more ideas what else I can do

Amazing it started working.
I changed the device name and switched playback between AirPlay and iPhone a few times and it appeared on the list.

Glad you got it working. I recall having a similar issue with our family Spotify account when I changed kit.

I found the same fix for the same problem with Tidal connect. Why that is nobody seems to know. I just hope Naim support picks up on this strange hack.
