I have a Uniti Nova which has been working fine for 2 years now. I have gigabyte internet and the unit is hard wired with CAT7 cable. Lately when I have been streaming an album via Tidal the first track is fine, but the next tract has pauses and cut outs. If i stop the track and restart it, it is fine, but then the same thing happens with the next track. All firmware up to date. Any suggestions?
Country and precise firmware in use - latest is not a version number.
No Tidal issues with Nova here.
Try playing tracks from a usb stick to check it is only occurring on Tidal.
Useful to suggest one or two albums where this is occurring.

The current System firmware version for the Nova is 3.11.0 (5662). Not seeing any issues with Tidal here. Try updating your Nova to the latest release.

Maybe try a reboot. Press and hold power button for 3 or so seconds, release button. It should go into deep sleep. Then press power button, unit will reboot. When back up, check for update.
Played 14 tracks streamed from Tidal on Nova without any issue.
Verssion 3.11 as dknk posts above, was released some two months ago.
If using the app it states that your firmware is up to date, then best to contact your dealer or Naim support.
I am having the same issue. I encountered the problem since April. I have completely reset my whole network and all parts of it incl. router, Nova, Mobile Apps. I tried both wire and wireless connection between Nova and my network. What I observed so far is that Tidal plays well without any pausing when it plays through it’s own mobile app using the same network. Nova also plays well when it plays songs from my media sever (i am using MinimServer). The pausing only surfaces when Nova connects to Tidal through the Tidal Connect. When there are pausing, the Focal & Naim app also struggles to respond. I am really frustrated with this issue when there seems to be no fixes or root cause found.

Just an hour earlier (2:30pm HKT), I do notice that some Tidal albums/playlists do not have the pausing problem (e.g. commitment by Craig david) but some do (eg 1990s Love song by Tidal). What I know is that many albums/playlists saved under my Tidal’s collection would have the pausing problem.
Maybe you can delete and recreate your playlist.
So you can try with an album before.
Tried it. There are still pausing problems with albums/playlists not in My collection. I doubt that’s the root cause.
