I have a Unitistar which I have used to rip my CD collection to a USB HDD which I use plugged in the back.
Normally all is well but today whilst listening to Currency of Man by Melody Gardot we were fine until we got to track 5 (she don’t know) which the system decided to replace by Pink Floyd’s See Emily Play. Normal service was resumed at the next track.
On other occasions the system will decide that I really want to listen to Paul Weller’s Pink on White Walls and switch to this regardless of what else is playing.
Now I have nothing against the Star’s choices and I don’t want to appear too critical but I do think that having a music system behave like this is at a minimum “somewhat rude” and could even be described as “wilful”.
Does anyone else suffer from this March of the Machines like behaviour with our music players trying to impose their will upon us.
Or is it just me
