Ever since the last system update (3.12.0), BBC Radio 3 only briefly shows it’s logo, instead bringing up random photos of the artists mugshots, or displays a picture of the composer whose work is being performed. I find it annoying how it keeps switching images every time a new piece is broadcast, and much preferred just the the BBC Radio 3 logo. Has anyone else noticed this change, and is there anyway I can disable the display panel for this. Happy to have it on whilst listening to my ripped albums, as this shows the album covers artwork but not the constantly changing images I’m getting whilst listening to the good old beeb!

Yes, it’s because R3 includes metadata for the pictures. The only way to deal with it is to set the display to off, but then you won’t get the R3 logo either.

Thanks. I’ve sort of got used to it now, but as you say may try switching off the display panel and just use to display the album covers of my ripped CD collection when listening to them, and when streaming albums from Qobuz, which I am a member of.
