Uniti Star Ext. Hard drive

I have a Uniti Star.Will it run a 4tb external drive if I divide the content into 4 x 1tb folders? Spec says it only supports 1tb.

I think the answer is no. It doesn’t matter whether you have one folder or 1000 folders, it’s the total size that matters.

With a library of that size I think you will find a regular NAS running a UPnP server a better option.
